Warblers

I photographed my first warbler, a Yellow Warbler, in December 2007 in the Galápagos Islands. It alighted just a few feet away from me, a little yellow jewel in the verdant landscape. I barely managed to focus on it before it flew off. Little did I know that, a decade and a half later, I would be counting the days each year to migration and the waves of warblers it brings.
